Ed Gaelick, CLU, ChFC

Ed Gaelick established PSI Consultants in 1985 to provide a broad range of insurance and financial services to individuals and business owners.  His formula for success is to offer quality products from only the strongest financial institutions, provide unmatched service to every client and keep on the cutting edge of knowledge and better techniques.  Ed's commitment to building lasting relationships with his clients is overshadowed only by his integrity.  Ed has earned great respect from his clients and professional associates by never compromising quality, service and trust.  His vision for future success is built on this philosophy.

Accomplishments

After graduating from Montclair State University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting, Ed began his career in human resources, executive training, and benefits administration.  His professional accomplishments have accumulated since starting PSI Consultants.  Ed is a Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table which represents the top five percent of insurance producers worldwide. He has Court and Top of the Table qualifications. He consistently qualifies for the National Sales Achievement and National Quality awards.

In September 1986, Ed added Guardian to the list of carriers he represents and quickly became a leader with one of the strongest insurance companies.  Ed has qualified for Guardian's Leaders' Club since 1987.  During his time with Guardian, Ed served three terms on The Executive Committee of the Leaders' Club, which is the highest honor a Guardian producer can earn because it reflects national leadership in only a few specific sales areas.  The Executive Committee meets with Senior Management to give field force input on products and corporate policy.  Ed was the top group medical producer in 1995 and the national leader in disability insurance in 1991 and 1993.  He also was runner up for this high honor three times.  Perhaps Ed's greatest testimonial was being asked to prepare and present the Invocation at the annual Awards Banquet of the 1996 Guardian Leaders Club convention in Orlando, Florida in front of 1,200 attendees.  This alone indicates the respect felt by his professional associates.

Personal/Community Involvement

Ed has a special relationship with the HLA Registry, the largest voluntary bone marrow donor center in the United States.  As a regular blood donor, Ed has supplied the community with gallons since 1978.  Also a registered marrow donor, he was notified by the Registry that he was an initial marrow match for someone.  Secondary testing confirmed that Ed was not a compatible donor.   That disappointment led to the idea of "In Honor of Life", a company sponsored program whereby a charitable donation is made by PSI Consultants to the HLA Registry for each whole life policy sold.  The program helps the HLA with public awareness, needed money and much needed donors.  Through the program and donor drives organized by PSI Consultants, Ed is responsible for hundreds of registered donors and thousands of dollars of contributions.  With this program, Ed has combined his profession of insuring lives with his personal commitment to saving lives.  Every person who joins the Registry gives hope to the thousands of people in search of compatible donors.

Ed has also developed a relationship with The Special Operations Warrior Foundation who for more than 30 years, has provided full college scholarship grants, along with financial aid and educational counseling to surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation has been awarded a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the nation's leading charity watchdog group, for financial efficiency and has consistently met the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness and cost effectiveness. Virtually every dollar goes directly to the programs of supporting special operations personnel and their families.
